Halfmoons Rugby

The New Orleans Women’s Rugby Club is one of the oldest women’s rugby clubs in the country and has fielded a team since 1978. We began hosting our celebrated Mardi Gras Tournament in 1980. We are a combination of players, both women from the New Orleans area and local university students. We are currently playing as Division II team in the True South Matrix and are always seeking new players, supporters, and matches.
